Twilit Empire intends to offer a unique perspective on American foreign policy opportunities and challenges. Integrating disciplines such as history, communications and post-colonial theory, Twilit Empire seeks to acclimate the reader to new methods of thinking about contemporary foreign policy issues and topics.
The author of Twilit Empire is a graduate student at the Elliott School of International Affairs working on a Master’s in Security Policy. He is also non-commissioned officer in the Marine Corps Forces Reserve, as well as the director of communications at a DC-area cyber-security/ technology firm. He has traveled extensively across Europe, Africa and the Americas, digests every book he can get his paws on, enjoys the outdoors, and optimistically believes this blog may prove to be a resource that will impact present and future practitioners of America’s foreign policy, as well as people who are interested in the subject and looking for ways to make sense of our increasingly complicated and interconnected world.
